We provide a comprehensive range of insurance solutions for Ship Owners and Managers emanating from the Nordic and Scandinavian countries as well as the Baltic region. Business is also written on risks produced by Brokers in the same regions.
Our Ship Owners' insurances business consists of Hull & Machinery, Hull Interest, Freight Interest, Loss of Hire, War Risk, and additional special insurance covers such as Builders Risk. Most of our business is written as direct insurance through intermediaries but occasionally we also write business on a facultative re-insurance basis.
We provide cover on all major insurance conditions/clauses such as The General Swedish Hull Insurance Conditions, The Norwegian Marine Insurance Plan, ITC Hulls, German DTV Hull Clauses and additional recognised special conditions.
We are very quality focused and select our clients based on management performance, fleet composition, historical claims record, willingness to long time co-operation etc. Although we insure most types of ships we prefer medium sized fleets consisting of ocean going cargo vessels.
